What is the real value for group members?

There has been much said about the value for social networks group owners, but paid few attention to members benefits, who play key role in group development and growth. As an attempt to identify exactly those benefits for group members we made our own investigation. Although, frankly speaking the term "value of social groups" is quite elusive and there is no real tangible benefits for group member some compelling advantages it can, however, bring to the member of each particular group. So here we tried to list some which we think can help to enhance your network capabilities:

- Expanded search capability. In the search option you can choose to limit or include group members in your search. In some cases people rather search for their co-members, so you will have a better chance to be found by employer, partner or customer if you are the members of one group
- Easy to find the right person. Apparently the people within one group could have something in common, which could facilitate in establishing the contact.
- Communication abilities. Without premium memberships or some other packages you'll see the "upgrade now" screen whenever you attempt to Inmail to second or third degree preventing you from sending letter, so the ability to send as much inMails as you want seems to be one of the most valuable reasons to be in a group.

As a conclusion I can say that while some of indicated benefits might seem trivial, for somebody being a member of some specific group can enhance his abilities to find and be found, as well as provide useful communication medium.
